My Grandma's of New England

My Grandma's Coffee Cake Gets Around
Remember how good Grandma's coffee cake used to taste? Apparently a lot of actors, musicians, television stars and jet setters do too. They've adopted My Grandma's Coffee Cake of Hyde Park, Mass., a company that supplies coffeecakes on order. It started with Irwin Winkler, producer of the film "Good Fellas" and a satisfied Grandma's customer, says Grandma's ownerv Bob Katz. From there, the client list expanded to include Barbara Streisand, Robert DeNiro, Oprah Winfrey, Quincy Jones, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, and Madonna, he says.
The cakes have been served at the White House, Buckingham Palace and the Eiffel Tower. From the original owners grandmother's recipe, other cakes were developed including apple and lower fat versions.
